About the Role
Odeko is seeking an Operations Manager to own the end-to-end warehouse flow, shaping execution and coaching for fulfillment hubs. This role is responsible for driving on-time movement, establishing clear accountability, and maintaining performance across operational teams. The successful hire will guard processes and partner daily with site leaders to ensure service levels are met for cafes. Success in this position requires a dual focus on both people development and process discipline to keep the warehouse running smoothly. The manager will act as the operational backbone supporting the Odeko platform that serves more than 20,000 independent coffee shops and food establishments. This is a critical position that ensures the tools and supplies reach neighborhood cafes efficiently and reliably. The manager will contribute to a diverse and passionate team of over 400 employees dedicated to supporting customer needs through an intuitive web portal and mobile app.

What you'll do
- Execute the shift plan and dynamically reallocate resources when demand patterns shift unexpectedly.
- Direct daily activities spanning picking, packing, routing, and dispatching to uphold fulfillment timelines.
- Own the shift execution plan by assigning tasks, tracking progress, and reallocating personnel as operational needs change.
- Guide and coach Ops Leads and hourly associates to sustain pace, accuracy, and safety in motion.
- Champion standard operating procedures to ensure quality holds firm across staging and fulfillment processes.
- Monitor fulfillment accuracy and partner with site leadership on process improvements to drive continuous enhancement.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment as a core duty of the role.
- Oversee intake through to dispatch to keep schedules tight and customer promises reliable.
- Orchestrate build activities, coordinate pick paths, and guard scan integrity throughout the workflow.
- Review outcomes, spot deviations, and partner on focused corrective actions to resolve issues.
- Verify manifests and confirm handoffs to carriers to ensure shipping orders with precision.
- Connect with partners, align on timelines, and smooth exceptions in flow to prevent disruptions.
- Act as the point of contact for floor-level issues and escalate appropriately to the Site Lead when necessary.
- Communicate progress and blockers clearly across shifts and to leadership to maintain transparency.
Requirements
Candidates must bring a minimum of 3 years of experience directing warehouse operations, fulfillment, or logistics in a motion-focused environment. The ability to lead hourly crews in a fast tempo setting, coaching and correcting in real time, is mandatory for success in this role. Fluency with WMS tools, handheld scanners, and final mile dispatching rhythms is required to perform the essential functions. A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary to meet the educational bar of the position. The ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly must be demonstrated consistently to ensure safety and operational efficiency. These hard bars ensure the candidate can handle the physical and technical demands of the warehouse environment. The role requires a commitment to maintaining safety and accuracy standards every day.
