About Octopus Deploy
Octopus Deploy establishes the benchmark for Continuous Delivery, enabling software teams to provide value in an agile manner. More than 4,000 organizations worldwide-including Ubisoft, Xero, Stack Overflow, NASA, and Disney-depend on our solutions for Continuous Delivery, GitOps, and release orchestration. Founded in Australia in 2012, our team of over 300 Octonauts now operates globally. We merge high growth and ambitious goals with a sustainable, balanced working environment. Our revenue has increased consistently between 20-50% annually for the past 9 years, and we have been profitable for 10 of the last 12 years. Octopus delivers the industry's most comprehensive Continuous Delivery solution for organizations operating at scale.
We have operated as a remote-first company since 2015 and maintain an uncommon level of transparency. You can review our public handbook to understand how we work. We uphold a transparent approach to compensation that ensures individuals performing identical work with identical skills receive equal pay, accompanied by clearly defined career pathways. We cultivate a supportive, collaborative, and high-trust environment. We discard job titles and concentrate on what benefits our customers and team. Our leaders readily address challenging questions during all-hands calls or in one-on-one discussions. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually as part of our remote-first operational model.
Do you enjoy what you have read and heard about us? Do you believe you share our values? If none of the roles listed on this page align perfectly, but you believe you can contribute something unique to our journey, we would like to hear from you. Please submit your CV and a cover letter describing how you can add value to our business.
Why Is This A Great Opportunity?
- We offer excellent benefits, including generous laptop and home office allowances, plus stock options!
- Annual leave consists of 25 days.
- Parents receive 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave.
- We value transparency and fairness in every aspect of our business. For instance, Paul (our CEO) provides monthly updates on company performance, and our pay structures are designed to pass the 'printer test'.
- We trust and grant autonomy to our team members. Octonauts are respected and trusted to identify the best working methods for their tasks, without managers monitoring their activities.
- You will join a high-growth company with numerous opportunities to learn and advance your career.
- Remote-first: work from any location where you feel most productive.
- We are a supportive company where every contribution is valued.
- We respect and encourage a healthy work/life balance.
Equal Opportunity
- We have built an inclusive workplace culture and recognize the true importance of culture-add, as opposed to culture-fit.
- From your first day, you will have a buddy to help you settle in. You can schedule coffee chats with anyone in the company. We encourage everyone to have a voice in all aspects of the product and the business. To that end, we maintain an open chat policy where all channels are public by default, and everyone is welcome.
- If you require assistance or accommodation during the application process due to a disability, please inform us and we will make every effort to accommodate you.
- Regarding inclusivity, we mean it. You can explore our handbook for more details!
- If you wish to work at Octopus, reach out and say hello.
