About the role
You design and deliver an HR experience that feels human, simple, and fast, removing friction from every interaction. You own the end-to-end management of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring each step is clear, efficient, and aligned with our values. You build and maintain the tools, templates, and automated flows that allow teams to operate with autonomy and confidence. You act as a trusted partner to managers and employees, guiding them through policies and processes without relying on rigid hierarchy. You measure the impact of your initiatives, using data and feedback to continuously refine the employee journey. You collaborate closely with People Business Partners and global colleagues to translate best practices into solutions that work locally. You safeguard our culture by making policies accessible, transparent, and fair for everyone in the organization. You challenge inefficiencies and propose practical improvements that scale as we grow.

What you'll do
Orchestrate the end-to-end employee lifecycle with a focus on clarity, speed, and a human touch.
Automate repetitive HR processes by building intuitive workflows, templates, and checklists that empower teams to act independently.
Partner with managers to interpret needs, co-create solutions, and ensure policies are applied consistently and fairly.
Design and manage onboarding journeys that make new colleagues feel welcomed, informed, and ready to contribute from day one.
Champion data-driven decisions by tracking key HR metrics and using insights to refine people programs and processes.
Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions, resolving queries efficiently or directing them to the right resource.
Maintain up-to-date documentation on policies, procedures, and tools to support transparency and easy access.
Identify pain points in the employee experience and lead small experiments to test and implement improvements.
Collaborate with global People Operations teams to adapt best practices and ensure consistency where it matters.
Proactively anticipate team needs and deliver support before issues escalate or turn into recurring problems.
Own projects that cross functions, coordinating with IT, Finance, and Operations to deliver seamless experiences.
Continuously simplify and streamline people processes, reducing manual effort and improving the overall employee journey.
Requirements
You are legally allowed to work in Italy and have the right to live and work in the country without sponsorship.

You are based in or able to relocate to Ascoli Piceno and are available to work from our office there.
You are available to work 40 hours per week from our office in Ascoli Piceno.
You are fluent in Italian, both written and spoken, for clear communication with colleagues and candidates.

You have at least three years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or a similar role.
You are comfortable using HRIS and ATS systems, with a quick ability to learn our specific tools.
You are comfortable working with data, using spreadsheets to track metrics and support decisions.
You have a proven track record of delivering operational excellence in a fast-paced, growing environment.
You are comfortable working autonomously while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
You are proactive in identifying issues, proposing solutions, and following through on improvements.
You communicate clearly and respectfully, with strong attention to detail and a focus on consistency.
You are comfortable working within a structured framework while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
Nice to have
Experience working in a tech scale-up or progressive company.
Experience supporting distributed or hybrid teams.
Familiarity with European employment law and social security regulations.
Basic understanding of data analytics tools or HR metrics.
Practical notes
This is a full-time role based in Ascoli Piceno, requiring 40 hours per week in the office.
Relocation support is not available for this role.
The selected candidate must have the legal right to work in Italy without sponsorship.
