Technical Lead Manager, Autonomy Evaluation and Intelligence
Job description
About the role
Nuro is seeking a leader to oversee the assessment and intelligence frameworks for our autonomous driving systems. You will guide a team focused on validating the performance and safety of the Nuro Driver software as we expand into robotaxi and consumer vehicle markets. In this capacity, you will own the strategic direction of evaluation programs that verify the robustness of autonomy features. The role requires synthesizing complex test data into actionable intelligence that directly informs software development and deployment decisions. You will be responsible for ensuring that our evaluation frameworks keep pace with the rapid evolution of the autonomous vehicle software stack. This position sits at the intersection of engineering rigor and product strategy, translating validation results into high-confidence releases. The manager in this role will act as the primary architect of how we measure and understand the capabilities of the Nuro Driver in diverse scenarios. Your work will directly impact the reliability and safety posture of our software as we pivot toward licensing our technology.
