Total Rewards Manager

About the role

Nuro is seeking a compensation and benefits expert to manage our global total rewards strategy. You will oversee the design and administration of programs that attract and retain top talent as we scale our autonomous driving software business.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Develop and execute compensation structures including base pay, variable incentives, and equity programs.
• Administer health, wellness, and retirement benefit plans for a diverse workforce.
• Conduct regular market benchmarking to ensure our pay practices remain competitive within the autonomous vehicle and software industries.
• Partner with HR business partners and leadership to provide guidance on offer packages and compensation philosophy.
• Manage annual performance review cycles and merit increase processes.
• Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing compensation and benefits programs in a high-growth corporate environment.
• Deep understanding of equity compensation, including stock options and restricted stock units.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets for decision-making.
• Proficiency in HR information systems and compensation management software.
• Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Certification such as CCP or CEBS.
• Experience working within the robotics, automotive, or software licensing sectors.
