What you'll do

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects within your assigned area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations and timely project delivery.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all milestones are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on project status, including budget tracking, timelines, and any challenges encountered.
• Lead and mentor a team of construction workers, fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, and excellence.
• Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring that projects remain within financial constraints.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to communicate project updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with the work being performed.
• Implement best practices in construction management to enhance efficiency and productivity across all projects.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with local building codes and regulations, as well as company policies.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on safety protocols and new construction techniques to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field, with a focus on overseeing multiple projects.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and foster a positive work environment.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Proficient in project management software and tools, with a solid understanding of budgeting and scheduling techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project demands and priorities.

Nice to have
