What you'll do

• Lead Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews, ensuring that all team members are engaged and productive.
• Collaborate closely with product owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that the team is focused on delivering maximum value.
• Coach and mentor team members on agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Identify and remove impediments that may hinder the team's progress, ensuring that they can work efficiently and effectively.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, promoting transparency and alignment on project goals.
• Monitor team performance metrics and provide insights to stakeholders, helping to drive informed decision-making and strategic planning.
• Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for agile project management, contributing to the overall maturity of the organization's agile practices.
• Support the team in maintaining a sustainable pace of work, ensuring that workloads are manageable and that team members are not overburdened.
• Foster a positive team environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and open communication among team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in agile methodologies and Scrum practices, continuously seeking opportunities for personal and professional development.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure that the team is aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
• Act as a servant leader, putting the needs of the team first and helping them to develop and perform at their highest potential.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within an agile environment, with at least 3 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and agile methodologies, with relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide teams through the agile process effectively.
• Experience with agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on removing obstacles and enabling team success.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with software development processes and practices, particularly in a technology-focused organization.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement, with a commitment to personal and professional growth.

Nice to have

• Experience in scaling agile practices across multiple teams or departments.
• Knowledge of additional agile frameworks such as Kanban or Lean.
• Background in software development or technical project management.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
