What you'll do

• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and understand user needs, preferences, and behaviors.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital platforms.
• Analyze user feedback and analytics to iterate on designs and improve user satisfaction and engagement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance the design process.
• Facilitate design workshops and brainstorming sessions to foster creativity and collaboration within the team.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and enhance the final product.
• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that the user experience aligns with brand messaging and goals.
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on design principles and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with developers to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
• Document design processes and decisions to create a transparent workflow that can be referenced by the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a tech or digital product environment.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including user interfaces and user experiences.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first design strategies.
• Familiarity with front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

• Experience in designing for enterprise applications or SaaS products.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices in design.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in design software such as Adobe XD, InVision, and other prototyping tools.
• Strong understanding of design systems, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana to track design progress.
