We are seeking an HR Operations Partner to join our People Team in Malta. As a global fintech, we operate in fast-moving and regulated environments. We require a partner passionate about building efficient, technology-driven HR operations. This position involves significant regional responsibility. You will manage the complete HR operations lifecycle for the EMEA region. This role is for a detail-oriented generalist. You will identify manual processes and implement immediate improvements.
Key Responsibilities
You will design intake structures to ensure accurate employee data capture before system activation. You will orchestrate workflows for contracts, equipment, and system access. This ensures teams are productive on their first day. You will manage review rituals to verify compliance with local regulations. You will ensure policy completeness and alignment. You will drive shipment sequences that coordinate logistics. You will confirm delivery and communicate status to internal stakeholders.
You will create partner playbooks with IT, Finance, and Legal. This ensures alignment regarding tools, data, and controls. You will develop dashboards to track cycle times, errors, and volume. These metrics will highlight opportunities for automation. You will define standard operating procedures. These documents will clarify ownership, escalation paths, and documentation standards. You will conduct audits to validate records and correct discrepancies. You will feed insights back into system improvements. You will implement routing rules based on entity type, geography, and risk level. This removes the need for manual triage. You will establish feedback channels with employees. This will refine self-service options and reduce repetitive inquiries.
What You Bring
You hold eligibility to work in Malta. You understand local employment regulations. You have three to five years of experience in HR operations. Your background is in fast-scaling, regulated businesses. You manage multiple priorities across time zones. You maintain meticulous accuracy in records. You communicate effectively in English. This skill is required for writing and conversations with stakeholders. You use HRIS, ATS, and eSignature platforms. You ensure processes remain transparent and auditable.
Additional Assets
Experience with payment infrastructure is valuable. Familiarity with fintech licensing is an advantage. Knowledge of card issuance ecosystems is beneficial.
