What you'll do
- Lead the planning and execution of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to define project specifications and requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets, to track progress and communicate with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that all engineering designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Utilize project management software to monitor project milestones and deliverables, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing needs.
- Facilitate regular project meetings to discuss progress, address issues, and ensure alignment among all parties involved.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field) from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering or a similar role within the construction or engineering industry.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Waterfall, or similar frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Proficient in engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar applications.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and regulations applicable to engineering projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
- Experience with sustainable design practices and green building certifications (e.g., LEED).
- Familiarity with construction management software, such as Procore or similar platforms.
- Previous experience working in a client-facing role, with a focus on customer service and satisfaction.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in engineering, such as BIM or IoT applications.
