What you'll do

• Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate project requirements and constraints, ensuring that all engineering specifications are met.
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to develop detailed plans and timelines for project execution.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during project implementation, providing innovative solutions to minimize downtime.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of project progress, including reports, drawings, and specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a field engineering role, preferably within the construction or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices, with hands-on experience in project execution.
• Proficient in using engineering software and tools, including AutoCAD and project management applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and clients.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in field operations.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or working towards obtaining one.
• Experience with specific industry standards and regulations relevant to Nfb's projects.
• Familiarity with sustainable engineering practices and green building standards.
• Previous experience in a client-facing role, enhancing customer satisfaction and project success.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar applications.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera.

• Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
