About the role
We are seeking a Project Manager for Product Release and Enablement to become a vital part of our Product Operations team. This role is pivotal, merging structured project management with product enablement, which are essential for managing product release cycles, communicating changes to stakeholders, and scaling learning content and certification programs. The successful candidate will serve as the operational backbone for our product portfolio, ensuring that releases are executed seamlessly, stakeholders receive timely updates, and our learning and communication materials are consistently published and refined.

What you'll do
- Oversee the coordination of product releases by maintaining timelines, dependencies, and resource allocations across the product portfolio, while tracking actual performance against established baselines for scope, schedule, and budget.
- Manage product releases within the designated information system, ensuring data integrity and completeness for all active release plans.
- Ensure uniformity in reporting across the product portfolio; generate regular status updates for stakeholders using dashboards, charts, and presentations.
- Monitor progress on product release projects, proactively identifying and flagging potential risks and issues.
- Handle documentation and communication with stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Maintain operational dashboards that track learner engagement, content feedback, completion metrics, and project KPIs.
- Assess proposed changes to the release schedule and facilitate the approval process by adhering to established change control protocols.
- Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders when there are changes in requirements or priorities, ensuring that teams can adapt swiftly while maintaining control over delivery.
- Keep a detailed change log and effectively communicate approved changes to all relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure that change control processes are consistently applied and continuously enhanced across all projects.
- Utilize data visualization tools to provide real-time insights into the health of the release process and performance trends.
- Track operational objectives and suggest improvements based on trend analysis and feedback from stakeholders.
- Coordinate the creation and maintenance of release-related communications across various product editions and release streams.
- Maintain supporting documentation, including known issues, administrator guidance, maintenance windows, and compatibility matrices.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Documentation teams to gather accurate release information and effectively communicate changes.
- Ensure consistent messaging across learning, documentation, and customer communication channels.
- Act as the central coordination point for learning, documentation, and project support requests throughout the organization.
- Manage and prioritize incoming requests from ticketing systems, support channels, and internal stakeholders.
- Drive the timely resolution of issues through collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Administer learning technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and certification platforms.
- Oversee the end-to-end publication of new training content, including courses, exams, learning paths, and certifications.
- Coordinate updates to existing learning assets to ensure accurate reflection across all learning platforms.
- Maintain learning catalogs, homepage layouts, and content discoverability within the learning portal.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external translation vendors for the localization of learning content, certifications, and portal pages.
- Manage user access, permissions, and vendor relationships while monitoring system integrations and data synchronization processes.
- Review and approve changes to platform configurations; support platform enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure that all content publication adheres to established governance, quality, and release processes.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, program coordination, PMO, or learning coordination roles, preferably in a software/SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing release schedules, dependencies, and risks, with a knack for identifying issues early and escalating them without losing momentum in delivery.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and understanding of how release management integrates within it, or experience in managing educational projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and Aha, as well as data visualization/dashboarding tools like Power BI and Excel for reporting on release health and KPIs.
- Knowledge of LMS and certification system administration, including platform configurations, user access, and integrations.
- Experience with ticketing/support systems (e.g., Zendesk) for managing incoming requests.
Nice to have
- Business-level fluency in English, with strong writing and structuring skills for status reports, release notes, and stakeholder updates.
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities, capable of building trust and coordinating across Product, Engineering, Technical Services, Marketing, and external vendors.
- Comfort in acting as the central coordination point across multiple teams and workstreams, especially in dynamic environments where priorities may shift.
- Proficiency in utilizing AI tools and AI-assisted workflows to enhance documentation, reporting, and communication processes.
- A genuine curiosity and adaptability towards adopting new AI tools as they become available.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in documentation, communications, and platform content.
