What you'll do
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable web and mobile applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user-friendly interfaces.
- Develop and maintain APIs that facilitate seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices in software development.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development processes and tools.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure alignment and progress towards team goals.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and future development efforts.
- Collaborate with QA engineers to define testing strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage for all features.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on product features based on user needs and market demands.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on both web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Extensive experience with back-end technologies, including Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java, and familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A passion for delivering high-quality software and a commitment to continuous improvement.
