Key facts
What you'll do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to define user needs and translate them into intuitive design solutions.
- Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital products.
- Analyze user feedback and behavioral data to iterate on designs and improve overall user satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform design strategies and enhance user experiences.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and enhance designs.
- Work closely with developers during the implementation phase to ensure that designs are executed accurately and meet user needs.
- Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to peers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization and promote a deep understanding of user needs across teams.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure that user experience aligns with brand messaging and marketing strategies.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to their professional development by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in UX design or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, including usability testing and user research techniques.
- Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that effectively communicate design ideas.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret user data and feedback to inform design decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Experience in designing for mobile applications and responsive web design.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices in UX design.
- Previous experience in an Agile development environment.
- A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.
