The successful candidate will act as a pivotal representative, promoting NETGEAR's advanced network technology solutions to commercial and broadcast sector stakeholders. This role demands close collaboration with internal departments to uncover, assess, and cultivate new business opportunities for the company's portfolio. You will own the development and execution of long-term strategic plans designed to penetrate and expand footprint within your designated territory. Success in this position will be measured by your ability to build trusted relationships with key decision-makers and influence the adoption of NETGEAR's solutions. You will leverage deep product knowledge to articulate value propositions that address complex customer network challenges. What you'll do
- Architect a comprehensive strategic plan for your assigned sales territory that aligns with NETGEAR's enterprise objectives.
- Analyze and project future sales performance for specific accounts, market segments, and industry verticals to guide resource allocation.
- Serve as a technical educator for AV integrators, consultants, and end-users, demonstrating the capabilities of NETGEAR's product suite.
- Collaborate with the NETGEAR distribution network to optimize pricing strategies and ensure key clients receive competitive and appropriate terms.
- Partner proactively with distribution sales teams to uncover, qualify, and pursue high-potential target accounts and emerging market segments.
- Synthesize and maintain an intricate understanding of current products and broader industry trends to provide authoritative counsel.
- Orchestrate and execute compelling presentations that clearly communicate technical differentiators and return on investment.
- Implement rigorous sales forecasting methodologies to ensure pipeline accuracy and reliable revenue predictions.
- Exhibit self-motivation and a relentless drive to achieve and exceed ambitious business growth targets.
- Utilize Salesforce proficiently to manage the entire sales cycle, track interactions, and maintain accurate opportunity data.
- Demonstrate the flexibility and willingness to travel extensively, potentially up to 50% of the time, to engage with stakeholders in the field.
- Act as a primary liaison between NETGEAR and its distribution partners to resolve issues and identify collaborative growth tactics.
- Continuously monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to adjust strategies and preserve competitive advantage.
- Champion NETGEAR's value proposition through consultative selling approaches tailored to the broadcast industry's specific needs.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Possess 5-7 years of experience in territory sales management focused on audiovisual integrators within the Pro and Broadcast AV markets.
- Accumulate 5 or more years of direct experience selling AV over IP technologies and networked solutions.
- Show a solid grasp of IP networking concepts, protocols, and terminology to discuss technical implementations knowledgeably.
- Validate a proven history of delivering clear, concise, and effective presentations to technical and executive audiences.
- Maintain a demonstrable track record of accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management.
- Operate as a self-directed professional with an intrinsic motivation to pursue business growth and exceed quotas.
- Utilize Salesforce as a core tool for CRM management, reporting, and opportunity tracking without assistance.
- Accept the necessity to travel up to 50% of the time to meet clients, attend industry events, and support partners.
