What you'll do
- Lead, manage, and inspire a team of 6 to 8 Account Executives, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment that encourages high performance.
- Set clear, measurable performance expectations for your team members and ensure accountability through regular check-ins and performance reviews.
- Conduct ongoing coaching sessions to develop sales skills, improve techniques, and support career growth for Account Executives at varying experience levels.
- Organize and lead team meetings to communicate goals, share best practices, and motivate the team toward achieving sales targets.
- Monitor daily phone interactions and review sales pipelines to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions, optimize sales tactics, and drive results in a data-driven environment.
- Encourage a culture of innovation by inviting team members to share new ideas, approaches, and creative solutions to challenges.
- Maintain a positive leadership presence during periods of change or organizational shifts, providing stability and guidance to your team.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer support teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Participate actively in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new sales talent to build a strong, capable team.
- Lead or contribute to strategic projects beyond core sales activities, supporting broader business initiatives and growth plans.
- Track and report on team performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management to inform decision-making.
- Foster a customer-centric approach within your team, emphasizing the importance of understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments to keep the sales team competitive and innovative.
- Support the development and refinement of sales processes, tools, and resources to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations, maintaining high ethical standards in all sales activities.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Manage and resolve escalated client issues or concerns, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience managing a team of 4 or more Account Executives in a sales environment.
- Proven track record of success in sales roles with quotas, demonstrating the ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop Account Executives, including those with varying levels of experience.
- Experience working in high-volume, transactional outbound sales settings, with a focus on outbound prospecting and lead generation.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and make strategic adjustments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of providing clear guidance and constructive feedback.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments, building strong cross-functional relationships.
- Problem-solving mindset, adaptable to changing priorities and business needs.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, with Salesforce experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Knowledge of sales methodologies and best practices in a fast-paced environment.
