What you'll do

You will analyse and translate business requirements into technical solutions while collaborating closely with stakeholders to clarify needs and scope. You will design, develop, and test software components using C#/.Net, Java, or Python to deliver robust and maintainable applications aligned with platform standards. You will participate in full project lifecycles, taking ownership of tasks from initial design through implementation, verification, and deployment support. You will write clean, well-documented code and contribute to technical discussions during agile ceremonies to ensure shared understanding and continuous improvement. Requirements

You must possess excellent programming skills with an in-depth understanding and recent experience in C#/.Net, Java, or Python. You must demonstrate a strong enthusiasm for programming and technology and an appetite to work effectively within a dynamic team environment. You must show an entrepreneurial nature, taking ownership of challenges and proactively running towards problems while thriving on innovation. You must be capable of owning all aspects of development projects, managing scope, risk, and dependencies to successful delivery. You must possess a desire to understand and solve business problems, building domain knowledge and increasing market understanding through active engagement. You must communicate clearly and professionally with clients as well as team members, adapting your style to different audiences and contexts. You must hold a first-class degree predicted or obtained in Computer Science, or a related field, ideally from a Russell Group University or international equivalent. You must have achieved strong A Levels or international equivalents, evidencing a solid academic foundation. You must be based in or able to work from the Newcastle location as required for the role.
