Business Development Director
Job description
About the role
You will own the end to end partnership strategy for MyFunded Futures, defining which deals we pursue and how we win with them. You will architect and execute bold go to market initiatives that embed our brand into the core ecosystems of fintech, trading technology, and performance communities. You will act as the primary external advocate for MFFU, shaping conversations and closing strategic commitments that compound over time. You will build scalable frameworks for partnership evaluation, negotiation, and governance so that every relationship has clear owners and measurable outcomes. You will align tightly with marketing and executive leadership to ensure every deal reinforces our narrative of transparent, performance driven opportunity. You will track and communicate the financial and strategic impact of each partnership, adjusting tactics based on real world results. You will stay ahead of industry shifts, spotting emerging players and platforms before they become mainstream priorities.
What you'll do
Own the full partnership lifecycle from first outreach through integration, renewal, and strategic expansion. Build and manage a multi partner pipeline that spans fintech infrastructure vendors, data and execution providers, industry associations, and co marketing platforms. Design and negotiate creative deal structures such as sponsorship agreements, co branded campaigns, API integrations, and licensing arrangements. Collaborate with Marketing and Executive leadership to ensure every partnership advances the brand narrative and growth objectives. Serve as the primary external representative of MyFunded Futures at industry conferences, vendor briefings, and live trading events. Oversee vendor and processor relationships to protect margins, optimize costs, and secure favorable commercial terms. Establish performance dashboards and review cadences that quantify partner ROI and inform decisions to scale, pivot, or exit. Monitor the prop trading landscape, competitor partnership activity, and emerging distribution channels to identify first mover advantages. Document playbooks, decision frameworks, and governance models so partnerships operate clearly defined processes. Maintain rigorous forecasting and reporting against pipeline, close rate, and key partnership metrics. Partner with product and operations teams to ensure technical and compliance requirements are met without slowing deal momentum. Evaluate new categories and regions for expansion, focusing on markets that align with our trader community and capital efficiency.
What you'll bring
You have a proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing partnership or business development deals in fintech, trading, gaming, or adjacent technology sectors. You are comfortable owning a number, managing a pipeline, and articulating what is required to hit target close rates and deal values. You possess sharp negotiation instincts and the presence to represent MyFunded Futures effectively with vendors, executives, and regulators. You understand how to build and maintain long term relationships that generate recurring strategic value beyond one off transactions. You are fluent in reading and interpreting performance data, translating metrics into actionable partnership decisions. You have experience working with legal, compliance, and finance stakeholders to align contract terms, risk, and commercial feasibility. You are disciplined in forecasting and reporting, maintaining clear visibility into deal stages and outcomes. You are based in or willing to relocate to Plano, Texas, and are able to work the hours and schedule required to support global partner conversations.
