What you'll do
- Lead the design and implementation of interconnection systems for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, electrical engineers, and regulatory bodies, to develop interconnection strategies that align with project goals.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in interconnection engineering, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of grid interconnection standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Proven experience in project management, with the ability to lead complex projects from conception to completion.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in engineering software tools, such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, or similar applications.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Familiarity with renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, and battery storage systems, is highly desirable.
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration or equivalent certification.
- Experience with energy market analysis and economic modeling related to interconnection projects.
- Knowledge of energy storage systems and their integration with renewable generation.
- Previous experience working with government agencies or utility companies in interconnection matters.
