About the role
Motive is seeking an Enablement Business Partner, AI Specialist to own the strategic design and execution of AI-driven enablement initiatives across the sales organization. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI-enabled sales sequences, ensuring they are built, governed, and optimized for maximum impact. This role requires you to partner closely with Marketing and Sales Transformation to define the operating model for AI in outbound and account-based outreach. You will be responsible for establishing quality standards and governance frameworks that ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with business objectives. The position demands a bias for experimentation, using data to refine AI prompts, sequence logic, and timing to drive measurable improvements. Success in this role is defined by high field adoption of AI tools and clear contributions to pipeline growth and conversion. You will act as a change agent, enabling the field to leverage AI capabilities to improve productivity and effectiveness in their daily workflows.

What you'll do
Orchestrate the governance model for AI-enabled outreach sequences, defining standards and controls in partnership with Marketing and Sales Transformation.
Build and launch complex outreach sequences within Outreach, integrating AI-driven content and workflows to automate multi-step sales engagements.
Analyze sequence performance using data, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities to refine messaging, timing, and branching logic.
Design and run A/B experiments across personas, value propositions, and sequencing strategies to isolate what drives higher engagement.
Collaborate with Sales Leadership to translate business priorities into actionable sequence architectures that target specific ICPs and use cases.
Own the maintenance and continuous optimization of sequence libraries to ensure content remains current, compliant, and aligned with revenue goals.
Partner with Marketing to measure the impact of core marketing sequences, correlating outreach activities with downstream pipeline and revenue metrics.
Lead a cross-functional Outreach content committee that sets performance standards, prioritizes initiatives, and drives adoption across global sales teams.
Implement change management programs that equip stakeholders with the skills and confidence to adopt new AI tools and sequence frameworks.
Define and track success metrics for outreach programs, linking adoption and efficiency gains to tangible business outcomes such as increased pipeline generation.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to Sales Transformation based on performance analysis, influencing future AI strategy and enablement practices.
Champion the adoption of AI-native workflows by creating training materials, playbooks, and documentation that support field readiness.
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders seeking guidance on best practices for sequence design and AI utilization in sales outreach.
Ensure all outreach activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining data integrity and privacy standards.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing AI solutions and strategies specifically for a Go-To-Market organization.
Proven track record in Outreach administration, including building sequences, maintaining sequence libraries, creating views and dashboards, and analyzing usage and performance.
Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Possesses 4 or more years of experience in sales enablement, revenue operations, or a related role within a high-growth B2B SaaS organization.
Shows fluency in change management methodologies, with a history of driving tool and process adoption across large, complex organizations.
Exhibits strong analytical skills, including experience designing experiments, interpreting performance data, and identifying repeatable improvements across personas and messaging.
Communicates effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, capable of influencing global Sales Leadership, Marketing, Sales Transformation, and Operations.
Displays a bias for action and comfort operating in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Must be authorized to receive and access commodities and technologies controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
Adheres to Motive's policy requiring employees to be authorized to access Motive products and technology.
Nice to have
Experience with CRM and sales engagement platforms beyond Outreach, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
Background in manufacturing, logistics, or other industries served by Motive's platform.
Understanding of AI prompt engineering and large language model workflows.
