What you'll do

• Coordinate and manage the end-to-end air export process, ensuring all shipments are prepared and dispatched in accordance with company policies and international regulations.
• Prepare and review all necessary documentation for air exports, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and airway bills, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customs regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, freight forwarders, and carriers to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise during the export process.
• Monitor and track shipments throughout the transportation process, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any delays or complications promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to ensure coordination of air export operations and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular audits of export documentation and processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Assist in the preparation of quotes and pricing for air freight services, providing clients with accurate and competitive rates.
• Stay informed about changes in regulations and industry trends that may impact air export operations, and proactively implement necessary adjustments to processes.
• Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance personal skills and knowledge related to air freight and logistics.
• Support the management team in various administrative tasks related to air export operations, including data entry and reporting.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and operational protocols at all times.
• Foster a positive work environment by collaborating with team members and contributing to team goals.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in air export operations or a related field, with a strong understanding of logistics and freight forwarding processes.
• Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs compliance, including knowledge of Incoterms and export documentation requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Detail-oriented mindset, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.

Nice to have

• Experience with air freight pricing and quoting processes, including negotiation with carriers.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations and handling procedures.
• Familiarity with customs brokerage processes and relationships with customs officials.
• Additional language skills that may enhance communication with international clients.
• Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CLTD, CSCP) is a plus.
