What you'll do

• Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide timely and accurate information regarding ocean freight services and pricing.
• Assist in preparing quotations and proposals for clients, ensuring all details are accurately captured and communicated.
• Maintain and update customer databases, ensuring that all information is current and accessible for the sales team.
• Act as a liaison between clients and various internal departments, including operations and finance, to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate updates to clients, addressing any issues that may arise during transit.
• Analyze sales data and prepare reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in service delivery.
• Support the development of marketing materials and presentations to promote ocean freight services to potential clients.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in ocean freight logistics.
• Assist in resolving customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
• Contribute to team meetings by providing insights and feedback on sales strategies and customer interactions.
• Help coordinate and participate in customer visits and trade shows to enhance business relationships and promote services.
• Engage in continuous learning to enhance product knowledge and improve service offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or logistics, preferably within the ocean freight sector.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM software.
• A detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and proactive.
• Familiarity with ocean freight regulations and documentation processes is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
