Sr Finance Systems Administrator

Overview

You will serve as the Finance Systems Administrator for our India team, owning the full lifecycle of finance applications from intake through resolution. Acting as the first point of contact, you protect system integrity while users rely on NetSuite, Coupa, Concur, Graphite, YayPay, EPM, and Tax Treasury platforms. You will triage issues, manage user access, support period closes, and contribute to process and security governance, all within a hybrid work model based in Gurugram.

Day-to-day responsibilities

Own the L1 support queue for all finance applications, triaging tickets, prioritizing work, resolving where possible, and escalating to L2 or L3 when necessary. Troubleshoot common functional scenarios such as data entry errors, workflow approvals, report access, login and SSO issues, and configuration mismatches. Document known issues and resolutions in a shared knowledge base, and contribute to runbooks and FAQs to reduce repeat tickets. Communicate clearly with users about ticket status, expected resolution timeframes, and practical workarounds.

Provision, modify, and deprovision user accounts across NetSuite, Coupa, Concur, Graphite, YayPay, Anaplan/Pigment, and related Tax & Treasury platforms, applying SCIM where relevant. Assign roles, permission sets, and approval hierarchies in line with access control policies and least-privilege principles. Run regular access certification reviews and clean up inactive accounts. Coordinate with HR and IT during onboarding, internal moves, and offboarding to ensure timely access changes.

Perform low-complexity system configuration, including adding or updating cost centres, departments, approval workflows, expense categories, and supplier records. Support Finance teams during month-end and quarter-end by running scheduled jobs, validating data loads, and confirming system readiness in sandbox before promoting changes to production. Assist in testing configuration changes or patches in non-production environments and maintain system documentation such as configuration guides, data dictionaries, and change logs.

Collaborate with Level 2 and Level 3 support teams and external vendors for escalated issues that require deeper technical or functional expertise. Participate in system health reviews and communicate recurring pain points to product leadership. Identify patterns in the support queue and proactively flag systemic issues to reduce ticket volume. Follow ITIL-aligned change and incident management processes, and support SOX and audit activities by providing user access logs, change documentation, and system evidence as required. Review Saas applications periodically and share perspective on possible consolidations.

Security administration

Act as the first line of defence for security-related requests across all finance applications, managing role assignments, permission changes, and access removals in an auditable manner. Maintain and enforce least-privilege access principles, reviewing and challenging access requests that exceed job function requirements before provisioning. Run periodic user access reviews across NetSuite, Coupa, Concur, Graphite, YayPay, Anaplan/Pigment, and Tax Treasury systems, documenting findings and remediating exceptions within agreed SLAs.

Manage Joiner-Mover-Leaver events by ensuring access is provisioned on day one for joiners, updated promptly for role changes, and revoked on the last day for leavers. Coordinate with IT Security and Identity & Access Management teams on SSO and SAML provisioning via Okta or equivalent, troubleshooting authentication and MFA issues for finance application users. Investigate and escalate suspected unauthorized access, unusual login activity, or policy violations to the IT Security team, preserving evidence and documenting the incident timeline.

What you bring

You are detail-oriented and collaborative, comfortable working independently and within cross-functional teams. You have hands-on experience supporting finance applications and can handle user requests, login problems, and configuration mismatches with minimal guidance. You are based in Gurugram and comfortable with hybrid working arrangements.

Nice to have

Exposure to Anaplan or Pigment is preferred.
