As a Směnový mistr at Bamboohr, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing production operations within our facility located in Modrice. What you'll do

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure that operational goals are met efficiently and effectively.
• Lead a team of production operators, providing guidance, support, and training to foster a high-performance culture.
• Monitor production processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for development.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and address any issues that arise.
• Analyze production data and metrics to track performance, identify trends, and report findings to management.
• Facilitate communication between shifts to ensure continuity of operations and share important information regarding production schedules and challenges.
• Assist in the planning and execution of production schedules, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet demand.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and solutions to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including attendance, output, and incidents, to support reporting and compliance efforts.
• Act as a point of contact for any production-related inquiries or issues, addressing concerns promptly and effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment, ideally spanning at least 3 years.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce.
• Proficient in analyzing production data and metrics to drive performance improvements.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration across teams and departments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing demands.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with production management software.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated manufacturing systems or robotics.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive or plastics industry.
• Fluency in Czech and English, both written and spoken, is advantageous.
