About the Role
This position owns the end-to-end customer lifecycle for Mejuri, ensuring brand narrative and revenue growth between purchases. The role architecturally designs the engagement system, making every message personal, on-brand, and commercially precise. It operates within the Growth function and collaborates extensively with Integrated Marketing, Brand, Creative, Merchandise, Retail, and Digital teams. You will architect and govern segmentation logic, contact prioritization, and journey orchestration to ensure precise message delivery to the correct shopper at the optimal time. Leadership extends to coaching and developing a team of lifecycle marketers, setting the standard for craft quality, execution speed, and analytical rigor from initial brief to post-send analysis. Turning insights into action is a key function, as you convert campaign performance data, cohort behaviors, and testing outcomes into clear, decisive business actions. You will design and execute a structured test-and-learn initiative across creative variants, offers, audiences, channels, and frequency, scaling proven winners and optimizing based on results. What you'll do
- Architect the end-to-end lifecycle engagement architecture across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app experiences to balance commercial objectives with brand storytelling.
- Establish the operational rhythm for Mejuri's lifecycle engagement, defining cadence, triggers, and content sequences that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Govern segmentation logic, contact prioritization, and journey orchestration to ensure precise message delivery to the correct shopper at the optimal time.
- Coach and develop a team of lifecycle marketers, setting the standard for craft quality, execution speed, and analytical rigor from initial brief to post-send analysis.
- Oversee all one-to-one consumer communications in partnership with Brand, Creative, Retail, Merchandise, and Digital teams to maintain on-brand integrity and commercial accountability.
- Convert campaign performance data, cohort behaviors, and testing outcomes into clear, decisive business actions that inform strategic pivots and optimizations.
- Design and execute a structured test-and-learn initiative across creative variants, offers, audiences, channels, and frequency, scaling proven winners and eliminating underperformers.
- Own the business reporting cadence, translating complex engagement data and lifecycle metrics into actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization.
- Translate customer behavior and journey analytics into refined segmentation and messaging rules that enhance relevance and drive incremental revenue.
- Partner with Merchandise and Retail to align lifecycle campaigns with product drops, promotions, and availability, ensuring timely and contextually relevant engagement.
- Collaborate with Creative and Digital teams to develop on-brand content variations that support high-performing lifecycle touchpoints.
- Implement responsible sourcing and sustainable practice storytelling within lifecycle touchpoints to reinforce Mejuri's modern jewelry promise.
- Maintain strict governance over contact and journey health, ensuring compliance, list hygiene, and optimal send practices across all channels.
- Identify and prototype new engagement opportunities across emerging channels and formats, validating impact before scaled implementation.
- Synthesize cross-functional feedback to evolve the lifecycle strategy, ensuring alignment with brand growth objectives and customer expectations.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing is essential, with DTC, retail, or omnichannel backgrounds preferred.
- You possess a proven history of building and executing lifecycle calendars that drive tangible business outcomes, moving beyond vanity metrics like open rates.
- Fluency in lifecycle marketing platforms is required, with prior experience in Klaviyo being a significant advantage.
- You demonstrate strong analytical instincts, capable of reading dashboards, identifying underlying stories, and converting findings into actionable strategies.
- Proficiency with SQL or BI tools such as Omni, Looker, or BigQuery is an asset for deep data investigation and insight generation.
- You exhibit sharp commercial acumen, owning end-to-end outcomes across the customer journey with disciplined execution and strategic focus.
- You have a track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- You communicate clearly and persuasively, tailoring your approach for stakeholders ranging from executives to execution-level partners.
- You are comfortable making data-driven decisions quickly while balancing creativity, brand integrity, and commercial results.
- You understand the importance of compliance and consent in customer communications, ensuring trust and long-term relationships.

Practical notes
The position is based in Toronto and operates as a full-time, hybrid role with required office attendance. The annual compensation range is $120,000 to $150,000 USD.
