What you'll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with software development processes.
• Develop comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories to guide development teams.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit requirements and understand business needs, translating them into actionable insights.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units, ensuring clarity and understanding of project goals and deliverables.
• Assist in the design and implementation of software solutions, providing input on usability and functionality based on user feedback and testing.
• Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and issues, and proactively proposing solutions to keep projects on track.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring that the final product meets business requirements and quality standards.
• Analyze data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of software solutions, providing recommendations for enhancements and optimizations.
• Support the training of end-users and stakeholders on new software functionalities, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption of new systems.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business analysis and software development, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
• Engage in regular meetings with project managers and stakeholders to provide updates on project status and gather feedback for ongoing projects.
• Contribute to the development of business analysis methodologies and frameworks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a business analysis role, preferably within a software development environment.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall project management frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in creating detailed documentation, including BRDs, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC) and project management practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues as they arise.

Nice to have

• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master).
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present findings and insights effectively.
• Knowledge of programming languages or software development concepts, which can enhance communication with technical teams.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
