What you'll do
- Build and maintain relationships with health system leaders and key stakeholders across the healthcare industry
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans targeting healthcare organizations and large integrated delivery systems
- Present Lyra Health mental health solutions, including Lyra Empower, the only fully integrated AI-powered platform, to prospective health system partners
- Create and deliver compelling narratives that effectively communicate the value of evidence-based mental health care to diverse audiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical, product, and marketing to identify new business opportunities and partnerships
- Manage a structured pipeline of prospects and track progress through each stage of the sales cycle with attention to detail
- Prepare detailed quantitative analyses and reports to support business development strategy and informed decision making
- Travel to customer sites approximately 40 percent of the time for in-person meetings and relationship building activities
- Leverage Excel and Google Sheets for data tracking, forecasting, pipeline management, and comprehensive reporting purposes
- Use presentation software to create clear, persuasive materials tailored for health system audiences and organizational leaders
- Serve as a subject matter expert on mental health care delivery and Lyra integrated care model and solutions
- Maintain an obsessively organized approach to managing multiple concurrent projects, deadlines, and competing priorities
Requirements
- Proven background in business development, healthcare sales, or management consulting with a demonstrated track record of success
- Strong passion for mental health and a deep commitment to improving access to quality behavioral health care
- Demonstrated storytelling ability with a history of engaging diverse audiences and making complex ideas accessible to others
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication for professional settings and formal presentations to external stakeholders
- Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams without losing focus or quality
- Comfort with quantitative analysis and data-driven decision making to inform business development strategies and priorities
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data management, analysis, and detailed reporting on a regular basis
- Familiarity with Powerpoint or Google Slides for creating polished presentations and professional proposal materials consistently
- Ability to bring a strong sense of urgency and genuine empathy to daily work and all professional interactions
- Willingness to travel approximately 40 percent of the time to meet customers directly at their respective locations
Nice to have
- Experience working within or alongside health plan organizations and payer networks in a business development capacity
- Familiarity with AI-powered healthcare platforms and digital health technology solutions used in clinical care settings
- Background in peer-reviewed research or evidence-based clinical care models with measurable patient outcomes and results
- Knowledge of Baltimore, Maryland area health systems, hospitals, and regional provider networks and relationships
- Prior experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders in healthcare settings and industry conferences and events
