What you'll do
You will About Lyra and internal security operations to establish a baseline for normal activity.
Investigate security alerts and anomalies, correlating data from multiple sources to determine the scope and severity of potential incidents.
You will Monitor system security events using current security technologies, ensuring continuous visibility into the environment.
Analyze vulnerabilities and threat intelligence to support risk assessments and the prioritization of remediation efforts.
You will Support vulnerability assessments and risk analyses to identify and remediate weaknesses across the infrastructure.
Contribute to the development, implementation, and refinement of security policies and procedures that reflect current best practices.
You will Assist with compliance initiatives (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA), translating regulatory requirements into operational controls.
Process incoming customer security assessment requests, ensuring they are handled efficiently and in accordance with established procedures.
Collaborate with IT and business units to implement security controls and perform audits that validate their effectiveness.
You will Prepare reports detailing security incidents, assessments, and risk status for stakeholders, translating technical findings into clear narratives.
Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology through continuous learning and professional research.
You will Assist in the implementation of security tools and workflows to improve detection accuracy and response times.

Requirements
You need a BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Cybersecurity. Equivalent.
You need qualifications or relevant experience will also be considered if they demonstrate a strong foundation in security principles.
You need Experience & Qualifications that include a minimum of 2+ years in information security, cybersecurity, or IT security roles.
You need Experience in healthcare is a plus, as the context of protected health information adds critical nuance to the work.
You need to Process incoming customer security assessment requests with attention to detail and adherence to policy.
You need to Prepare reports detailing security incidents, assessments, and risk status for stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
You need to Assist with employee cybersecurity awareness training initiatives, helping to foster a security-conscious culture.
You need to Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology to ensure defenses remain current and effective.
You need to Monitor and analyze security alerts, distinguishing between false positives and genuine threats.
