Requirements

You must bring six or more years of experience in interface and experience design.

You must collaborate effectively with lean teams of engineers and product managers.

You must craft solutions for both desktop and mobile contexts in production settings.

You must communicate clearly in both spoken and written formats with diverse stakeholders.

You must apply user research methods and synthesize findings into actionable designs.

You must demonstrate mastery of Figma and related prototyping tools.

You must maintain a high standard of design detail and consistency.

You must thrive in a low-ego, fast moving, cross-functional environment.

You must be excited by dynamic startup conditions and tight delivery cycles.

Nice to have

Experience with BIXI, Citi Bike, Divvy, Bay Wheels, Biketown, BlueBikes, Capital Bikeshare, or similar systems.

As a member of the Operations Technology team, you will evolve the platform that drives global on-the-ground operations. You will design features used in warehouses, vans, and in the field to make transportation systems reliable. The role involves confronting complex technical challenges and advocating for experiences that promote efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to align on product vision.

Design responsibilities include planning strategy and defining tactics with product and engineering. You will use research and data to influence product shape. High quality wireframes, mockups, user journeys, and interactive prototypes are part of the workflow. You will share work across teams and clearly explain design rationale. Bringing new ideas helps inspire the entire organization.

The daily work involves close collaboration with members of the Product and Marketing Design Teams. You will create a unified, end-to-end experience for bike and scooter riders within the Lyft app. The role requires ownership of features for the core rider experience. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

This position is open to candidates who hold authorization to work in Canada. Travel is not required for this role.
