Engineering Manager, Global Growth
Job description
About the role
You own the technical strategy and execution for the Fleets domain at Lyft, collaborating closely with partners across Product, Design, Science, and Operations. You will set the technical direction for a dynamic area focused on matching autonomous, livery, and taxi fleets with the Lyft marketplace while managing programs for special vehicles such as Express Drive rentals, electric, and premium options. You will guide a team of engineers to build and maintain scalable tooling for on-the-ground fleet operations, ensuring that solutions are both sustainable and impactful. The role requires balancing rapid delivery with long-term architectural thinking to drive business outcomes through experimentation and data-informed decisions. You will co-own product strategy, translate customer needs into engineering plans, and communicate priorities transparently to both technical and executive audiences. If you thrive in cross-functional settings and enjoy shaping real-world products that connect people with mobility, this position is a strategic opportunity to influence the future of transportation.
