What you'll do

• Lead the design and development of crew systems, including life support, habitat, and environmental control systems for lunar missions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, specifications, and performance criteria for crewed lunar operations.
• Conduct system-level trade studies and analyses to optimize crew systems for performance, reliability, and safety.
• Develop and implement testing protocols to validate system designs and ensure compliance with mission requirements.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a Master's or Ph.D. is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on crew systems or related fields in aerospace.
• Proven track record of leading complex engineering projects from concept through to implementation.
• Strong understanding of life support systems, environmental control, and human factors engineering.
• Experience with systems engineering methodologies, including requirements management, verification, and validation processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in engineering software tools and simulation platforms relevant to crew systems design and analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related activities and site visits.
