About the role
You will own the end-to-end commercial lifecycle for a defined Houston geography, acting as the primary strategic relationship owner for a portfolio of healthcare providers, physician groups, and health systems. In this capacity, you will spearhead market adoption by identifying and penetrating new referral sources while simultaneously expanding existing strategic partnerships to unlock incremental referral volume. You will develop and manage executive-level relationships that are grounded in trust, delivering consultative guidance that aligns Luna's evidence-based physical therapy platform with the strategic goals of each partner. A core part of your ownership involves acting as the critical liaison between our internal stakeholders - including Clinical, Operations, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success - to ensure seamless execution and a cohesive value proposition. You will analyze market dynamics and clinical utilization patterns to identify opportunities for improving access to appropriate therapy and strengthening the patient referral journey. This role requires you to own key performance metrics, translating business objectives into actionable plans that drive sustainable growth within your territory. You will leverage data and qualitative insights to articulate the impact of Luna's platform, ensuring partners recognize measurable value in outcomes, efficiency, and patient satisfaction. Ultimately, you will serve as the definitive voice of the provider market, synthesizing feedback from the field to inform internal decisions that enhance our platform and service delivery.

What you'll do
Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with physician groups and health system executives to uncover strategic priorities and referral workflow inefficiencies.
Develop multi-year strategic account plans that outline specific growth initiatives, stakeholder mapping, and value realization milestones for each major partner.
Lead complex negotiations and structured discussions that result in mutually beneficial partnership agreements and expanded service adoption.
Architect and execute targeted outreach campaigns designed to increase provider referrals and strengthen Luna's position within the local care continuum.
Collaborate with Clinical and Operations teams to design tailored onboarding experiences that ensure providers understand Luna's evidence-based protocols and technology.
Partner with Marketing to co-create localized content, case studies, and success metrics that reinforce the value of Luna's platform to healthcare executives.
Translate product roadmaps and clinical insights into clear narratives for Product and Engineering, ensuring new features address real-world partner and patient needs.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends, providing timely intelligence that shapes our positioning and strategic priorities in Houston.
Own the end-to-end referral journey, working with Customer Success to resolve barriers and optimize the provider and patient experience at every touchpoint.
Establish yourself as the operational hub for partner communications, coordinating cross-functional alignment to support time-sensitive requests and strategic initiatives.
Utilize CRM and internal dashboards to maintain precise visibility into partner engagement, pipeline health, and conversion metrics.
Champion data-driven decision making by establishing key performance indicators and regularly reporting on progress against growth objectives.
Build and maintain a robust network of clinical and administrative contacts across referral sources to sustain long-term partnership growth.
Serve as a subject matter expert on value-based care models, demonstrating how Luna's platform helps partners achieve quality and cost objectives.
Facilitate quarterly business reviews that highlight performance improvements, reinforcing the strategic nature of the Luna partnership.
Requirements
Demonstrate a proven track record of consultative selling within the healthcare or physical therapy referral environment, with a history of managing complex enterprise relationships.
Possess a strong understanding of healthcare operations, reimbursement models, and the patient referral journey across multiple provider types.
Exhibit exceptional relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and persuade executive-level stakeholders in large, complex organizations.
Showcase a disciplined approach to managing a sales pipeline, utilizing data and CRM tools to forecast accurately and drive outcomes.
Have a documented history of achieving or exceeding growth targets in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
Bring strong business acumen and financial literacy, enabling you to articulate the return on investment of Luna's platform to partner organizations.
Display superior communication and presentation abilities, capable of adapting your message for clinical and executive audiences.
Commit to working within the Houston, Texas time zone and being available during standard business hours as defined by our operational model.
Nice to have
