In the dynamic environment of a Lucid Studio, this position serves as the primary human connection between the brand and the customer, guiding them through every stage of the vehicle ownership lifecycle. The hired individual will act as the central orchestrator for the customer journey, starting with the first spark of interest and extending through the complexities of test driving, financial structuring, and final handover. Success in this role requires ownership of the entire process, ensuring that each interaction is managed with precision and care from initial inquiry to the moment the keys are delivered. You will be responsible for evaluating individual customer requirements through attentive listening and tailored consultation, translating those needs into the ideal Lucid solution. This position involves not just selling a product, but educating the market on the superior value proposition and technological advantages of Lucid's offerings compared to the competition. You will leverage technology to maintain a highly organized sales pipeline and meticulously document every customer interaction within your CRM system. Furthermore, this role involves close collaboration with internal departments to coordinate logistics, ensuring a seamless transition from sale to delivery while keeping clients informed and reassured throughout the waiting period.

What you'll do
Evaluate customer needs through personalized interactions and active listening to identify the most suitable Lucid vehicle configuration.
Educate clients on Lucid products and the competitive landscape to highlight value, emphasizing performance, efficiency, and technological superiority.
Maintain a consistent sales pipeline and manage customer interactions using Salesforce to ensure accurate forecasting and follow-up.
Conduct test drives to demonstrate vehicle features, allowing clients to experience the handling, acceleration, and interior ambiance directly.
Manage the end-to-end transaction process, including financing, leasing, and registration, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
Coordinate with internal delivery and financial service teams to ensure a smooth handover, resolving any potential bottlenecks before they escalate.
Provide regular updates to customers during the period between ordering and delivery to maintain high levels of satisfaction and trust.
Utilize advanced product knowledge to answer detailed technical questions regarding battery range, autonomous driving capabilities, and interior customization options.
Develop a deep understanding of retail automotive desking procedures to create competitive and profitable sales contracts.
Leverage fluency in secondary languages if applicable to expand the reach and inclusivity of customer communications.
Utilize strong organizational skills to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously without compromising attention to detail or service quality.
Adapt to a flexible retail schedule that may include weekends, evenings, and holidays to meet the demands of the dealership environment.
Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on new model year changes, promotional offers, and industry best practices.
Collaborate with the marketing team to provide feedback from the field regarding customer sentiment and emerging trends.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional sales experience in a commission-based environment is mandatory for this position.
- A high school diploma or GED certificate is required; possession of a Bachelor degree is preferred and adds value to the role.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM software, specifically Salesforce, is essential for daily operations.
- Must be capable of working a flexible retail schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and holidays without exception.
- Holding a valid driver license is required, with the condition that there have been no suspensions within the last 12 months.
- Drivers who are under 21 years of age must have held a valid license for a minimum of 3 years and must complete all mandatory training programs.
- Ability to successfully obtain relevant state DMV licensing as required by the jurisdiction of operation.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements such as bending, squatting, and reaching is necessary.
- Strong organizational skills are required to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
- Adherence to company policies and ethical sales practices is non-negotiable.
- Willingness to comply with all security protocols and confidentiality agreements regarding customer and company data.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace within the studio environment.
- Must meet all local, state, and federal requirements for selling automotive vehicles.
Nice to have
Previous experience in retail automotive sales, specifically in the desking and closing process, is highly valued.
Fluency in a secondary language is a preferred qualification that can enhance customer relations and expand the potential client base.

Practical notes
The compensation structure for this role includes a guaranteed base pay of $25 per hour in USD, supplemented by uncapped commission earnings.
These earnings are distributed to the employee through bi-weekly payout cycles.
The comprehensive benefits package provided covers medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as life insurance and disability insurance.
