About the role
Lokalise is looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of product strategy and drive the evolution of its localization platform. This is a remote position available to candidates based in Latvia, Spain, or the United Kingdom. The Senior Product Manager will work within a distributed, multicultural team and play a central role in shaping how customers manage translations and localization workflows at scale. You will be responsible for defining product direction, prioritizing the roadmap, and ensuring that shipped features deliver meaningful value to both internal teams and external users.

What you'll do
Define and articulate the product vision for the localization platform, translating business goals into a clear and actionable roadmap for the engineering and design teams.
Gather qualitative and quantitative customer feedback to identify pain points, unmet needs, and opportunities for improving the translation management experience.
Prioritize the product backlog by evaluating impact, effort, and strategic alignment, working closely with engineering leads and design partners.
Own the end-to-end product roadmap and ensure that feature delivery stays aligned with company business objectives, growth targets, and customer expectations.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and customer success teams to plan and execute product launches on schedule and with high quality.
Analyze product performance metrics, user behavior data, and market trends to inform iterative improvements and validate product hypotheses.
Lead structured discovery sessions, user research initiatives, and competitive analysis efforts to uncover new opportunities and inform product decisions.
Write thorough product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria that provide clear guidance to development teams throughout the build process.
Manage the complete product lifecycle from initial ideation and concept validation through development, launch, and ongoing post-release iteration and optimization.
Represent the product in external settings such as industry conferences, community events, and customer-facing meetings to gather insights and build awareness.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience shipping products in a B2B SaaS or developer tools environment, with a strong understanding of the full product development cycle.
Solid grounding in product management methodologies including agile frameworks, iterative development, and continuous delivery practices.
Proven ability to work independently and self-directed in a fully remote setting with minimal day-to-day supervision or oversight.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills that enable effective coordination across distributed teams and diverse stakeholder groups.
Strong experience with prioritization frameworks and the ability to make clear, data-informed decisions under conditions of ambiguity.
Comfortable engaging directly with customers through interviews, surveys, and feedback sessions to understand pain points and validate proposed solutions.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, engineering, product management, or a closely related discipline.
Several years of progressive product management experience with demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-faceted product areas and feature sets.
Nice to have
Familiarity with localization, internationalization, or translation management concepts and workflows, including common standards and file formats used in the industry.
Experience collaborating with distributed or multicultural teams spread across multiple time zones, countries, and cultural contexts on a regular basis.
A background in developer-facing products, API platforms, or developer tools, which provides insight into the needs of technical users and integrators.
Knowledge of agile coaching practices, facilitation techniques, and workshop formats that help product teams stay aligned and move quickly.
Skills & tools
Hands-on proficiency with product management platforms such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools for tracking and documentation.
Experience leveraging analytics platforms like Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics to measure product health and user engagement.
Familiarity with prototyping and design collaboration tools including Figma, Sketch, or Balsamiq for creating and sharing mockups.
A strong conceptual understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and technical architecture patterns common in modern software platforms.
Comfortable using team collaboration tools such as Slack, Notion, or Linear to coordinate work, share updates, and maintain transparency.
Ability to query databases or use spreadsheet tools like Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis, reporting, and trend identification.
