You will act as a key strategist for distributor partners, aligning their activities with corporate objectives. The role demands a proactive approach to identifying and solving execution gaps at the distributor level. Success in this position hinges on the ability to foster strong, consultative relationships with key stakeholders. You will be the primary link ensuring that brand strategy is flawlessly implemented on the ground.
Key facts
The role is based in a field remote capacity within South Texas. The specific locations are Austin or San Antonio. Position requires up to 40 percent field-based travel. Overnight stays are a standard requirement of the position. The compensation package offers an annual salary between $92,000 and $120,000.
What you'll do
- Architect the distributor strategy in collaboration with partners to achieve case volume and revenue targets.
- Conduct direct engagement with key buyers and national account teams to secure prime shelf space and support.
- Guide in-store merchandising and promotional execution to ensure maximum visibility and consumer engagement.
- Guarantee national and regional chain stores maintain correct product placement and strict compliance with brand standards.
- Interpret VIP data to monitor distributor health and support accurate purchase order forecasting for future cycles.
- Create and define Key Performance Indicator frameworks to track sales growth and in-store execution for distributors.
- Structure distributor organization design and recommend changes to improve coverage and overall operational efficiency.
- Lead training initiatives for merchandisers to sharpen their selling skills and ensure market readiness.
- Educate distributors on the Liquid Death brand narrative to ensure messaging remains clear and consistent across all partners.
- Build precise forecasts for case volume and spending to protect profitability and support leadership planning activities.
Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree is required or an equivalent qualification in Business or Sales Marketing. A minimum of 4 years of experience leading regional sales or territory sales is necessary. This experience must be within the beverage distribution environment. You must bring 2+ years of experience rooted in South Texas beverage or Consumer Packaged Goods settings. Demonstrated leadership experience over 2+ years is a prerequisite. Daily proficiency in VIP, Karma, Excel, and PowerPoint is mandatory. You must analyze data using IRI and Nielsen insights to guide strategic decisions. Exceptional presentation skills are required. This includes strong written and verbal communication to diverse audiences. A valid driver's license is required. A clean motor vehicle record is mandatory, with no major violations.
