Responsibilities

You will design, develop, and maintain server-side logic for web applications. This involves creating scalable and efficient components and APIs that form the backbone of application functionality. A significant portion of the work focuses on database management, where you will interact with relational and NoSQL databases. You will be responsible for designing and optimizing database schemas to ensure performance and scalability meet demanding standards.

Integration is a core function of this position. You will integrate third-party APIs and web services to extend application capabilities. In addition, you will develop custom APIs to facilitate seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems. Security is paramount; you will implement security best practices to defend against common web vulnerabilities. Regular security audits will be conducted, and necessary protective measures will be implemented to safeguard the infrastructure.

Performance is continuously monitored and improved. You will optimize server-side code to achieve maximum speed and scalability. Troubleshooting performance issues and resolving them efficiently will be a regular duty. Collaboration is essential as you work closely with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and other team members. This ensures the seamless integration of all components and a cohesive final product.

Version control is managed using systems such as Git to track all changes in the codebase meticulously. Testing and debugging form a critical part of the workflow. You will conduct thorough tests on server-side components to identify and resolve bugs. This process involves close collaboration with QA engineers to guarantee comprehensive validation. Creating and maintaining clear, comprehensive documentation for back-end systems and APIs is also a required duty.

Requirements

Proficiency in Java server-side programming is mandatory for this role. You must possess hands-on experience with various database systems, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. A proven track record in back-end development and building scalable web applications is essential. Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP is considered a significant advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, with a keen eye for detail. Effective communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders. The ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and emerging technologies is crucial for success in this environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role is 6,00,000 INR annually for a period of 3-5 years.
