About the role
You will own the end-to-end financial planning engagement for employees located in Puerto Rico, guiding them through critical money decisions via the LearnLux digital platform and one-on-one advice. You will act as a trusted fiduciary advisor, translating complex financial concepts into clear, actionable steps that help clients feel confident about their money. You will leverage your Certified Financial Planner™️ credentials to deliver unbiased, holistic guidance that aligns with each client's unique goals and circumstances. You will take full ownership of your caseload, driving outcomes that reduce financial stress and improve financial resilience for the employees you serve. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to refine the digital experience and ensure our content remains accurate and relevant for Puerto Rico. You will represent LearnLux with professionalism and empathy, building long-term relationships that reflect the company's commitment to excellence. You will continuously seek opportunities to improve your own processes and contribute ideas that enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency. Key facts
What you'll do
- Meet and engage with clients remotely over video, chat and email to give guidance on topics like budgeting, retirement readiness, equity compensation, and more.
- Advise on and adapt the LearnLux methodology to financial planning topics relevant in Puerto Rico.
- Participate in regular team meetings to bring your subject matter expertise to improve the LearnLux digital experience.
- Become an expert on our client's benefit plans so you can act as an extension of their team during open enrollment.
- Work with our content team to create outlines, review lessons and approve content created for the LearnLux digital platform.
- Lead engagement campaigns for our employer partners like digital webinars and occasional on-site events.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional standards while handling sensitive financial information.
- Track client progress and document interactions to ensure continuity and high-quality service delivery.
- Identify opportunities to expand financial education within client organizations and tailor resources to local needs.
- Support the implementation of new features and tools that enhance the client experience on the LearnLux platform.
- Collaborate with other financial planners to share best practices and improve overall service quality.
- Contribute feedback on user experience to help shape future iterations of the digital planning interface.
- Assist in developing training materials for new planners joining the LearnLux network.
- Ensure all interactions align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices for financial advice.
Requirements
- An active Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation is required for this role.
- Fluent English and Spanish - written and spoken.
- Passion for educating individuals to take control and invest in their financial future.
- Have the ability to perform several tasks concurrently, to prioritize work, and to take direction from multiple team members.
- Experience in multiple areas of personal Finance: Retirement, Equity Compensation, investments, budgeting, debt management, cash flow planning, digital currencies, estate planning, insurance and more.
- Strong understanding of financial planning principles and ability to apply them in a remote advisory context.
- Demonstrated commitment to acting in a client-first manner at all times.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and professionally.
- Comfort working independently with minimal supervision in a fully remote environment.
- Reliability and discipline to manage your schedule and meet deadlines without direct oversight.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new financial products, regulations, and client needs.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial recommendations and documentation.
- Professionalism and integrity when handling confidential client information.
Nice to have
- Startup and/or Fintech experience.
- Experience creating presentations and presenting to large audiences.
Practical notes
- This role is 100% remote within Puerto Rico.
- You must be physically located in Puerto Rico to be considered for this contractor position.
- Reports to the Global Director of Financial Planning.
- No specific working hours are mandated, but availability during standard business hours for synchronous client and team interactions is expected.
- Travel is not required for this role as all engagements are conducted virtually.
- No visa sponsorship is mentioned for this position.
