Clean claims move through insurance payers on schedule and without errors to maintain smooth revenue cycle operations.

Requirements
Candidates bring 2+ years of experience in medical billing, claims processing, or revenue cycle management to show operational familiarity.
Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding, including J-code, Q-code, and C-code billing, is used to process claims correctly.
Payer portals such as Waystar and Availity guide interactions and status checks.
ERA/EOB processing and payment posting reconcile transactions and resolve discrepancies.
High-volume workloads are handled with strong attention to detail while accuracy is upheld under time pressure.
Effective written and verbal communication coordinates with payers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Task independence prioritizes tasks and meets deadlines without constant supervision.
EHR systems such as AlayaCare, Epic, or Athena access, update, and report on clinical and billing data.

Prior denial management and insurance appeals experience reduce revenue loss and improve claim outcomes.
An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Business, or a related field supports compliance and process understanding.
