What you'll do
- Translate enterprise revenue targets into bottom-up capacity and productivity models that directly inform hiring and investment decisions for the sales organization.
- Evaluate historical and current ramp curves, quota attainment distribution, and tenure mix to uncover structural performance opportunities across the enterprise sales motion.
- Influence headcount planning, territory design, and quota capacity through sophisticated data-backed modeling that balances risk and growth potential.
- Identify long-term revenue risks and opportunities by connecting pipeline health indicators, coverage ratios, and deal velocity trends across all sales segments.
- Own the end-to-end enterprise revenue performance reporting, executive dashboards, and complex forecasting models used by the CRO and leadership team.
- Improve forecast confidence by integrating ramp timing, coverage ratios, and conversion metrics into standardized reporting frameworks and decision tools.
- Analyze pipeline coverage health across key segments and territories; proactively flag structural funnel risks that could impact future revenue realization.
- Support quarterly business reviews, annual planning cycles, and board-level revenue discussions by preparing executive-ready insights and narratives.
- Continuously refine SQL queries, Salesforce reporting configurations, and BI dashboards to increase decision speed, accuracy, and stakeholder trust.
- Partner closely with RevOps and Enablement to diagnose productivity gaps and recommend data-informed improvements to sales processes and tools.
- Translate complex revenue data and model outputs into clear narratives that influence senior stakeholders and drive consensus on strategy.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships across Sales, Finance, and Marketing to ensure alignment on revenue strategy, definitions, and targets.
- Continuously evolve revenue modeling frameworks to reflect changes in sales motion, market conditions, and competitive dynamics.
- Benchmark forecasting methodologies and ramp expectations against industry best practices to identify gaps and innovation opportunities.
- Identify and implement improvements to data hygiene, opportunity stage definitions, and reporting standards to support high-quality decision-making.
- Bring a test-and-learn mindset to forecasting and capacity planning models, iterating based on new evidence and outcomes.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership to validate assumptions behind pipeline coverage, quota capacity, and territory assignments.
- Drive initiatives that connect behavioral data from the platform to revenue outcomes, ensuring insights are actionable and measurable.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in sales analytics, revenue operations, or business analytics within a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining complex forecasting models, quota plans, and capacity projections.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience querying large datasets to derive actionable insights and support decision-making.
- Strong mastery of Salesforce or similar CRM platforms combined with experience building and maintaining reporting dashboards.
- Proven ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decisions through data.
- Experience working directly with senior sales leadership, CROs, and RevOps teams to shape revenue strategy and planning.
- Deep understanding of sales metrics including pipeline coverage, conversion rates, ramp time, quota attainment, and productivity ratios.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where priorities shift and data quality varies.
