What you'll do

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business strategies and operational improvements.
• Develop and implement predictive models using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to forecast outcomes and optimize processes.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Create data visualizations and dashboards that effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Conduct A/B testing and other experimental designs to evaluate the impact of changes and enhancements on key performance metrics.
• Monitor and maintain data quality, ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to continuously enhance our analytical capabilities.
• Mentor junior data analysts and contribute to the development of best practices within the data science team.
• Participate in cross-departmental projects, providing data-driven insights that support various business functions, including marketing, finance, and operations.
• Document methodologies, processes, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility of analyses.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for executive leadership, highlighting key insights and recommendations derived from data analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with experience in data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning techniques, with the ability to apply them to real-world problems.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and manipulation from relational databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
• A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data storage and processing.
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts and tools, including ETL processes and data warehousing.
• Previous experience in a consulting environment or working with clients to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Understanding of business intelligence concepts and tools.
