The position demands fluency in both strategic thinking and operational detail to manage performance, mitigate risks, and report insights to senior leadership. You will champion continuous improvement initiatives that streamline processes and enhance scalability across the partnership.

What you'll do
- Own the end-to-end success, performance, and growth of a strategic enterprise account, encompassing revenue, profitability, and customer experience metrics.
- Develop, implement, and iterate on the account strategy to uncover expansion, optimization, and long-term value creation opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, cultivating strong, trust-based relationships at executive levels.
- Lead business reviews such as QBRs and MBRs, aligning on performance, insights, and future roadmap planning.
- Drive commercial negotiations, renewals, and contract expansions to maximize lifetime value.
- Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities in collaboration with internal teams.
- Deeply understand the partner's business model, priorities, and success metrics to proactively propose tailored solutions.
- Ensure alignment between partner expectations and internal capabilities to maintain consistency and satisfaction.
- Lead the end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives, coordinating across Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk, and Marketing teams.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable plans and ensure timely, high-quality delivery on commitments.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, feasibility, and resource allocation to optimize outcomes.
- Act as the escalation point for complex issues, driving resolution across teams and stakeholders.
- Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators to measure account health and success.
- Generate insights and recommendations to improve performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to protect the partnership.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on performance, risks, and opportunities for informed decision-making.
- Identify and drive process improvements to enhance scalability, efficiency, and consistency.
- Promote best practices in execution, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead retrospectives and continuous improvement efforts to refine initiatives and execution quality.
- Ensure high standards of organization, documentation, and accountability across all activities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in account management, business development, consulting, or related roles, with a strong focus on enterprise clients.
- Proven experience owning and growing large, complex accounts with exposure to senior executive stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience in negotiations, revenue growth, and partnership management.
- Experience working with digital products and collaborating across cross-functional teams including Product, Tech, Ops, and Risk.
- Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and execution levels, balancing long-term vision with day-to-day delivery.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, both internally within the organization and externally with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and decisions.
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or highly regulated industries is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for outcomes.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required to perform the essential functions of the role.
Practical notes
This role operates within standard working hours as defined by company policy and local regulations. Travel may be required within Mexico City and occasionally to other locations as business needs dictate. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
