What you will do
Designing scalable system structures in partnership with product owners and technology leadership.
Charting technology direction and selecting frameworks after aligning with product strategy and delivery timelines.
Translating client needs and team insights into clear requirements that guide accurate effort estimates.
Guiding junior engineers through reviews and hands on coaching to lift overall code quality standards.
Tracking technical risks and dependencies so that mitigation plans keep projects moving steadily forward.
Exploring platform tools and architectural patterns then sharing practical findings that benefit multiple teams.
Communicating across functions using clear language that keeps stakeholders informed and decisions transparent.
Supporting delivery workflows by coordinating with partners to ensure solutions meet operational and compliance needs.
Writing maintainable testable and performant software in collaboration with our world class team.
Providing project program level leadership determining technology stack for the project program in collaboration with the technical director and the workstream leads.
Working with the Strategy and Design teams as well as the client to define requirements and estimate effort for upcoming work.
Mentoring the project team providing feedback and guidance to technical staff.
Identifying risks to the project or technology team and discussing them proactively with the team.
Researching new technology and tools and sharing those findings with the team.
Communicating clearly and effectively with all members of our team.
Requirements
You bring five or more years building production web systems while leading cross functional initiatives.
You code in Java with Spring Boot or Spring Cloud demonstrating deep familiarity with core libraries and runtime behavior.
You write frontend code using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular to deliver responsive interfaces.
You operate comfortably inside cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud or Azure managing services and costs.
You define pipelines and infrastructure using code principles to enable reliable automated testing and deployment.
You understand APIs data models caching and security practices that create resilient digital services.
You grasp HTTP SSL and web server fundamentals to diagnose issues and optimize user experiences.
You work with relational or NoSQL databases designing schemas and queries for performance and correctness.
Fundamental knowledge of core web principals including HTTP the DOM SSL and web servers.
Fluency with relational databases or alternatively NoSQL databases.
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as we work closely as a team and require frequent communication.
