You will partner with project stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into comprehensive test strategies and documentation. You will own the end-to-end QA lifecycle for assigned projects, defining test coverage and ensuring quality metrics are met. You will lead test execution cycles and drive rigorous validation across web, mobile, and API interfaces. Your work will directly influence product stability and customer confidence in high-visibility digital products. You will mentor junior QA resources and elevate the testing standards across multiple agile squads. You will champion continuous improvement in testing practices and tooling within the engineering organization. You will act as a quality advocate, balancing user experience with technical feasibility and delivery timelines.

What you'll do
Execute manual functional and behavioral testing across diverse project contexts to validate business workflows and user journeys.
Conduct device, operating system, and browser support testing to confirm consistent behavior and rendering across target environments.
Perform user experience testing by evaluating usability, accessibility, and interaction flows to identify friction points and improvement opportunities.
Implement front-end test automation using Selenium Java, Cypress, Robot Framework with Python, or Playwright to increase test coverage and execution efficiency.
Design and execute mobile automation scenarios using Appium with Java for native and hybrid applications on iOS and Android platforms.
Create and maintain reusable automation test scripts and frameworks, integrating tools such as Cucumber to support behavior-driven development.
Conduct performance, penetration/security, regression, smoke, and other specialized testing types based on project requirements and risk profiles.
Apply working knowledge of automation tools relevant to the testing types above, ensuring test suites are reliable, maintainable, and scalable.
Create detailed defects in JIRA and Azure DevOps, providing clear steps, logs, and evidence to facilitate rapid developer resolution.
Verify defect fixes thoroughly to confirm issue resolution and absence of regressions in related functionality.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automation tests using GitHub Actions, GitLab Jobs, Jenkins, or similar continuous integration platforms.
Collaborate with Project Management and Development teams to understand test schedules, deadlines, and release constraints.
Produce project health reports and communicate status updates to stakeholders, highlighting risks, progress, and quality metrics.
Triage and escalate issues based on severity and significance, ensuring critical problems receive timely attention and appropriate resource allocation.
Confirm consistency in user experience and behavior across multiple browsers, devices, and operating system versions.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor Degree in Software Development or a closely related field that provides foundational knowledge in testing and development practices.
Bring 4+ years of professional experience in QA roles, demonstrating a track record of delivering quality outcomes in complex projects.
Possess 1+ years of hands-on experience in Automation QA jobs, with evidence of implemented automated test suites and frameworks.
Value technical certifications as a plus, indicating commitment to professional growth and mastery of industry practices.
Demonstrate deep knowledge of Windows, OS X, iOS, and Android operating systems, including their nuances and testing considerations.
Exhibit excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with distributed teams and stakeholders.
Show deep knowledge of industry standard testing practices, methodologies, and quality processes used in modern software delivery.
Prove ability to triage and prioritize defects effectively, balancing business impact, user severity, and development capacity.
Maintain proficiency with all standard browsers and operating systems, covering both desktop and mobile testing environments.
Display working knowledge and proficiency or the ability to quickly work with Konrad Group's technology stack and tooling.
Apply familiarity with JIRA for SDLC management, including issue tracking, sprint planning, and status reporting.
Leverage GIT for version control, understanding branching strategies, merge workflows, and codebase collaboration.
Show experience with enterprise-level test management software such as Zephyr or TestRail for organizing test artifacts and results.
Demonstrate ability to build for Android, iOS, or web from repository, which is a significant advantage for end-to-end ownership.
Commit to learning new technologies and tools quickly, adapting to evolving project stacks and quality challenges.
