As a Senior Product Designer, you will own the end-to-end design of complex product experiences that define how businesses engage with their customers. You will simplify intricate workflows and data-heavy interfaces into clear, actionable paths that help users make faster, more confident decisions. You will leverage AI as a core part of your design process to rapidly explore concepts, generate prototypes, and refine interactions before engineering implementation. You will partner deeply with product managers and engineers to ensure designs are feasible, consistent, and impactful across the entire platform. You will champion user needs by synthesizing research and feedback into compelling design narratives that guide product direction. You will contribute to the foundational design systems and patterns that enable scalability and coherence across all product surfaces.

What you'll do
- Design end-to-end product experiences across Klaviyo's platform, ensuring clarity and usability at every stage of the customer journey.
- Simplify complex workflows and data-dense interfaces into intuitive, scalable solutions that reduce cognitive load for users.
- Design AI-assisted experiences that help users create, decide, and act more effectively by integrating AI capabilities seamlessly into the workflow.
- Rapidly prototype and iterate using AI tools alongside traditional design workflows to test hypotheses and validate concepts quickly.
- Raise the quality of frontend experiences by proactively identifying UX issues and driving them through to ensure they are fixed in the product before release.
- Contribute to shared systems, patterns, and foundations across the product to maintain consistency and efficiency in design implementation.
- Use customer insights and research to validate ideas and guide decisions, ensuring designs are grounded in real user needs and behaviors.
- Adapt to evolving product requirements and shifting priorities while maintaining a high standard of design quality and detail.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams from problem definition through launch, aligning on goals, constraints, and success metrics.
- Advocate for best practices in design process, influencing how work is scoped, prioritized, and executed across cross-functional teams.
- Explore opportunities to optimize the user experience for marketing, messaging, and growth initiatives where applicable.
- Document design decisions and rationale to ensure clarity and continuity throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support usability testing and iterate based on feedback to continuously improve the experience for diverse user segments.
- Participate in design critiques and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong systems thinking and the ability to design across complex, end-to-end experiences that span multiple touchpoints and data sources.
- High-quality UX and interaction design craft, with a demonstrated ability to simplify complexity and create intuitive, accessible interfaces.
- Experience working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where requirements evolve and decisions must be made with incomplete information.
- AI-first design practice. Actively uses tools like Claude, Cursor, v0, or similar as part of day-to-day workflows. Comfortable using AI to explore ideas, generate code, and accelerate prototyping.
- Builder mindset. Able to move quickly from concept to prototype to iteration, shaping both structure and high-fidelity UX quality.
- Collaborative approach. Works closely with product and engineering from problem definition through launch, and actively contributes to shared thinking and alignment.
- Research-driven. Uses customer conversations, testing, and qualitative insights to validate ideas and adjust direction quickly based on evidence.
- Adaptability. Comfortable navigating evolving product spaces, shifting business goals, and changing priorities while maintaining focus on user outcomes.
