This position is a strategic partnership role located in Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate will own the full employee journey, from initial contact through final review. You will guide teams and partners while ensuring that safety and a culture of innovation remain central to every decision. Position Overview and Core Responsibilities
The Human Resource Manager will serve as a strategic business partner to our leadership team. You will provide expert guidance on complex employee matters and lead the continued development of our HR processes, people, and systems. This role requires ownership of the entire employee lifecycle and a commitment to strengthening our organizational fabric.
Strategic HR Leadership and Talent Development
You will partner with executive and operational leadership to align HR programs, workforce planning, and talent strategies with our overarching business objectives. Leading and developing the HR team is a critical function, ensuring effectiveness, high service delivery, and ongoing professional growth. You will analyze HR metrics, turnover data, market trends, and workforce planning needs to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Fostering a culture rooted in accountability, safety, teamwork, and professional growth is essential. You will build and manage scalable performance management, career development, mentorship, and leadership development programs. Employee engagement will be driven through thoughtful strategies, including recognition programs, communication practices, and organizational development initiatives.
Employee Relations and Compliance Leadership
You will serve as the primary resource for complex employee relations issues. This includes investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance challenges. Providing coaching and HR advisory support to supervisors and management is a key duty, aimed at building leadership capability across the organization. All employment practices must be fair, consistent, and legally compliant.
Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws is a fundamental responsibility. This includes expertise regarding ADA, FMLA, FLSA, I-9, EEO, COBRA, USERRA, workers' compensation, and other regulatory requirements. You will lead HRIS optimization, process improvement initiatives, and digitalization strategies designed to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Operational Oversight and Program Management
Additional responsibilities include supporting payroll and workers' compensation processes as needed. You will oversee annual employee communications, open enrollment, policy updates, and employee-facing programs and events. This role requires a proactive approach to removing operational blockers and streamlining cross-functional processes.
Qualifications and Professional Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must hold at least 5 years of progressive HR experience, including people leadership. A deep understanding of safety culture is required, and you must know how to apply it within HR processes and daily decisions. The ability to manage complex employee relations cases with professionalism and care is essential.
You must demonstrate a strong commitment to compliance, ensuring adherence to ADA, FMLA, FLSA, I-9, EEO, COBRA, USERRA, and workers' compensation regulations. Proven ability to lead HRIS optimization and process improvement is necessary to boost accuracy and team efficiency. Experience coordinating payroll and workers' compensation support is required. You will also oversee annual open enrollment, communications, and employee programs.
