The is a strategic leadership position designed to spearhead the expansion of our footprint within the highly influential benefits consulting and pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) ecosystems. This role owns the end-to-end relationship strategy with key advisors who hold significant sway over employer healthcare procurement decisions at the highest level. You will be the primary architect of Join9am's positioning as the indispensable solution within these consultant and advisor circles. Success in this role is measured by your ability to drive sustainable revenue growth by embedding Join9am as the first and preferred choice for these influential partners. This position demands a sophisticated understanding of complex sales dynamics within the healthcare advisory space. You will own the narrative and execution of all consultant-facing initiatives that directly impact our top-line growth. The role is critical for building a durable competitive moat through trusted advisor networks.

What you'll do
Orchestrate and execute a comprehensive relationship management program for a portfolio of national and regional benefits consultants and pharmacy benefit managers.
Develop and deploy sophisticated strategies to identify, cultivate, and deepen relationships with C-level and executive stakeholders across key advisory firms.
Champion Join9am within industry networks by actively participating in and spearheading thought leadership initiatives that enhance our brand authority.
Maintain rigorous stewardship over our presence on all major consultant, broker, and advisory platforms, ensuring vendor profiles are impeccably current and optimized for maximum visibility.
Architect and manage co-marketing frameworks and mutually beneficial incentive structures that align the interests of Join9am with those of our most strategic consulting partners.
Collaborate seamlessly with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to conceptualize, author, and deliver compelling supporting materials, bespoke proposals, and in-depth case studies tailored for consultant audiences.
Conduct ongoing competitive intelligence gathering, monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving client requirements to proactively inform strategic planning and positioning.
Serve as the primary liaison between Join9am and the broader ecosystem of advisors, ensuring all communications reinforce our value proposition and market leadership.
Analyze relationship performance metrics and partner feedback to continuously refine engagement tactics and drive higher conversion rates within the consultant channel.
Lead the planning and execution of social and professional gatherings, from intimate roundtables to large-scale events, to strengthen relationships and amplify awareness of Join9am's capabilities.
Ensure all consultant-facing communications and materials are aligned with our brand standards and clearly articulate the distinct advantages of our solution for advisors and their clients.
Foster a culture of accountability within the consultant relations function, setting clear targets, reporting structures, and performance benchmarks for the team.
Identify and pursue new business development opportunities that emerge directly from strategic advisor relationships, translating trust into tangible contract wins.
Act as the internal advocate for the consultant community, ensuring product development and go-to-market strategies reflect their insights and evolving needs.
Requirements
You must possess a proven track record as a B2B sales professional with a minimum of 7 years of experience, with a clear specialization in relationship-driven sales methodologies.
A background deeply rooted in digital health, PBMs, benefits administration, or broader healthcare services is a mandatory eligibility criterion for this role.
You must demonstrate unequivocal success in selling to or through consultants, brokers, or advisors, with a portfolio of verifiable achievements.
Exceptional networking abilities are non-negotiable, and you must exhibit absolute comfort interacting with a wide array of stakeholders in both formal boardroom settings and informal social environments.
You must be a highly self-motivated individual with the proven discipline to independently manage, expand, and report on a complex sales pipeline without direct supervision.
Your willingness to travel extensively to partner offices, industry conferences, and key networking events across the United States is an essential requirement of this position.
You must be able to operate with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive client information and strategic partnership discussions.
A collaborative mindset is essential, as you will be required to work in close partnership with cross-functional internal teams to achieve shared objectives.
Nice to have
Preferred candidates will have prior experience working directly within a PBM or a major benefits consulting firm, providing an insider's perspective.
Demonstrated experience in creating and managing co-marketing and incentive programs with channel partners is strongly favored.
Knowledge of specific benefits consulting platforms and broker tools is considered a distinct advantage in this role.
Experience presenting at major industry conferences such as AHIP, NBG, or similar events is a significant plus.
Familiarity with the intricacies of the employer group market and current PBM contracting models is highly desirable.
