You will architect and lead the Generative Engine Optimisation strategy for Jellyfish's most valuable Tier 1 clients across the EMEA region, operating at the intersection of search, AI, and media. What you'll do
Drive strategic GEO partnerships with CMOs, brand leads, and search leaders across Jellyfish's Tier 1 EMEA accounts, translating global methodologies into region-specific execution plans.
Move clients from AI curiosity to AI maturity by defining and tracking a clear maturity curve, accelerating adoption of advanced Generative Engine Optimisation practices.
Architect and deploy comprehensive retained GEO engagements that integrate content authority, technical site optimization, structured data, entity reinforcement, and AI training-signal optimization.
Lead the GEO QBR narrative for major accounts, owning annual planning conversations that quantify contribution to growth, citation lift, and agentic readiness.
Diagnose AI-mediated search risks across fragmented discovery engines, including AI Overviews, ChatGPT Search, Claude, Gemini, and zero-click surfaces.
Convert the latest techniques from test environments into committed, revenue-generating retained work that demonstrates measurable commercial success.
Coach senior client-facing teams on positioning GEO within day-to-day conversations, ensuring consistent and credible narratives across account director and strategy director touchpoints.
Secure and leverage platform alpha and beta access with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, and Amazon AGI / Rufus teams to create differentiated client advantages.
Feed regional learnings, edge cases, and automation hooks into the global codex, updating the practice and expanding the experimental repository for all markets.
Support GEO initiatives within EMEA new business pitches, incorporating Share of Model™ diagnostics and shaping the commercial narrative to convert opportunity into retained revenue.
Champion Jellyfish's industry voice by contributing to IAB Europe, SMX London, DMEXCO, BrightonSEO, and AI marketing summits to reinforce category leadership.
Analyse and report on citation lift and agentic readiness, using data to refine strategies and demonstrate tangible value to senior stakeholders.
Champion best-in-class SEO, GEO, and Search standards, ensuring all retained engagements meet the high expectations of Jellyfish's top-tier clients.
Act as the primary EMEA feedback channel for product priorities, signal definitions, and regional benchmarks, ensuring the global offering remains market-relevant.
Requirements
You are an experienced senior practitioner, most likely with over 6 years in SEO, search strategy or digital media, including direct work in AI-influenced search environments and at least one major EMEA enterprise account.
You translate model behaviour and citation analysis into business consequences without sliding into jargon, maintaining credibility with senior marketing stakeholders.
You understand how knowledge graphs, structured data, embeddings, retrieval systems and training signals actually work, and you can spot weak strategies.
You have a track record of converting AI capability into repeatable, revenue-generating search strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
You operate comfortably in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while maintaining a rigorous, methodical approach to strategy and delivery.
You demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for executive audiences.
You are committed to collaborative working and value the unique contributions that diverse team members bring to problem-solving and innovation.
You are willing to travel within the EMEA region to support key client engagements and industry presence.
