About the role
Jellyfish is actively searching for a Paid Search Manager to join the Paid Media department in São Paulo. In this capacity, you will report directly to the Senior Manager and assume ownership of critical initiatives that drive scalable performance and sustainable account growth. Your primary focus will be orchestrating strategies within Google Ads to elevate campaign efficiency and client outcomes. You will be entrusted with the end to end management of search and performance initiatives, ensuring that every action aligns with overarching business goals. This role requires a proactive mindset to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and optimize the customer journey across digital touchpoints. You will serve as a key strategist, leveraging data and platform expertise to influence decision making and enhance overall media performance. Success in this position will be defined by your ability to balance tactical execution with strategic foresight while maintaining strict adherence to compliance and best practices.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Execute and refine campaigns in Google Ads, focusing on Search and Performance Max, with additional support for Demand Gen, DV360, and Social channels.
- Build and maintain highly structured keyword lists, tightly organized ad groups, and optimized asset groups to consistently maximize Quality Score.
- Oversee complex bidding strategies, manage budget pacing rigorously, and analyze performance metrics such as ROAS, CPA, and CPC while factoring in seasonal trends.
- Conduct daily account operations, including campaign setup, comprehensive search term audits, and continuous performance monitoring to identify anomalies.
- Design and produce client facing reports that translate intricate data sets into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Stay current on industry developments, platform updates, and emerging trends to integrate innovative tactics into media strategies.
- Collaborate with creative and analytics teams to develop testing roadmaps that enhance messaging, targeting, and overall campaign resonance.
- Manage multiple client priorities simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met without compromising accuracy or depth of analysis.
- Implement robust tracking frameworks to validate data integrity and support accurate performance measurement across all campaigns.
- Optimize audience signals and creative assets within Performance Max to improve engagement rates and conversion likelihood.
- Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge in a crowded landscape.
- Lead documentation processes, ensuring that campaign structures, changes, and insights are clearly recorded for future reference and scalability.
- Mentor junior team members on best practices for Google Ads execution, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
- Bring a minimum of 3 years of professional experience managing Google Ads, with a demonstrated focus on both Search and Performance Max.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in English, applying strong written and verbal skills in all communications and documentation.
- Show a proven history of successfully managing complex media budgets across diverse client portfolios.
- Hold active Google Ads certifications for Search and Performance Max, validating current expertise and platform knowledge.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills to diagnose performance issues, interpret data patterns, and anticipate market shifts accurately.
- Display the ability to manage client expectations effectively while consistently delivering high quality service and measurable results.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in campaign setup, reporting, and ongoing optimization efforts.
- Thrive in a collaborative environment, working seamlessly with cross functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
