About the role

In this role, you will take full ownership of software projects, guiding them from the design phase all the way through to deployment in a production environment. Your primary responsibility is to architect and deliver robust solutions where you act as the single point of accountability for the success of the project. You will integrate AI agents directly into your development workflow, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement high-value solutions for clients. The focus will remain on producing clean, maintainable code and developing highly scalable systems while strategically using AI tools to improve both development speed and output quality. You will validate and refine every artifact produced by AI, ensuring that the final deliverables meet rigorous standards before they reach production.

Requirements

You must possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience developing backend applications using Python and FastAPI or comparable frameworks, proving your ability to write production-grade code.

You must have an in-depth understanding of REST API design principles and implementation strategies, capable of explaining trade-offs in architectural decisions.

You must bring at least 3 years of experience developing and deploying applications using AWS serverless technologies and related cloud infrastructure, showing tangible results in real-world environments.

You must be proficient in creating front-end applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, or React, with a strong grasp of modern frontend tooling.

You must have a proven track record of validating, refining, and taking full responsibility for AI-generated designs, code, tests, and documentation before deployment.

You must have direct experience working in an AI-first engineering environment where AI agents are integrated into daily development practices and workflows.

You must have a background in designing, building, and integrating AI agents or workflows intended to automate engineering processes or enhance product features significantly.

You must demonstrate strong experience with cloud services and DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code, monitoring, and logging.

You must show familiarity with managing production software throughout its entire lifecycle, from initial deployment through ongoing maintenance and iteration.
