About the role
The is responsible for defining the end-to-end user experience for the company's AI-powered security and IT platform. This role involves shaping intuitive user flows that balance the strict requirements of identity and access management with the rapid workflows expected in the AI era. The designer will own complex interfaces from initial concept through production readiness, ensuring designs support both security teams and fast-growing organizations. A key part of the role includes translating compliance automation logic into coherent screen hierarchies and form structures that remain clear and usable. The designer will also map user journeys across endpoint security dashboards to clarify complex controls and interactions for diverse stakeholders. Collaboration with platform partners like ServiceNow and AWS is central to ensuring external designs align with Iru's established patterns and standards. Ultimately, this position influences how users protect applications, devices, and data through thoughtful and tested design decisions.

What you'll do
- Design intuitive interfaces for identity and access management features used across the Iru platform.
- Map user journeys across endpoint security dashboards to clarify complex controls and interactions for security and IT operations.
- Translate compliance automation logic into coherent screen hierarchies and form structures that guide users through regulated workflows.
- Coordinate with ServiceNow and AWS partners to ensure external designs align with platform patterns, standards, and integration requirements.
- Review interactive prototypes to assess usability, clarity, and accessibility before handing off detailed specifications to engineering teams.
- Establish and maintain reusable components that ensure consistent behavior, visual language, and interaction patterns across all Iru products and customer implementations.
- Collaborate with product teams to iterate on layouts, information architecture, and interaction models while adhering to strict security, compliance, and operational requirements.
- Test early concepts and design prototypes with key customers such as Cursor and Vercel to validate usability and gather feedback on complex security workflows.
- Define and document design systems, tokens, and responsive layout patterns that scale across devices, contexts, and user roles in security operations.
- Support the creation of user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups that address the needs of both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards and best practices, making complex security and compliance workflows usable for diverse audiences.
- Work within fast-moving product environments where priorities can shift quickly, requiring adaptability and clear communication under tight deadlines.
- Partner with engineering to translate designs into implementation, providing assets, specifications, and context needed for accurate delivery.
- Contribute to long-term product strategy by identifying opportunities to improve usability, clarity, and consistency across the Iru platform.
Requirements
- Hold three to five years of experience managing intricate interface projects within security-focused contexts and high-stakes operational environments.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in design systems, tokens, and responsive layouts that scale across multiple products and user groups.
- Show strong proficiency with Figma and related collaboration tools for documenting, prototyping, and communicating design decisions.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining design rationale and tradeoffs in clear terms.
- Understand accessibility standards and know how to apply them to complex workflows involving security, authentication, and compliance.
- Thrive in fast-moving environments where priorities can shift quickly, requiring flexibility, ownership, and proactive problem-solving.
- Have a strong eye for detail, ensuring consistency, clarity, and accuracy across all user interface elements and interactions.
- Be comfortable working with strict security requirements and translating them into practical, user-centered design solutions.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with platform partners such as ServiceNow and AWS is valued and demonstrates ability to integrate designs within enterprise ecosystems.
Core Skills and Tools
- Proficiency with Figma is essential for creating, maintaining, and evolving the design system and user interfaces.
